21th Beach Tennis World Championships
June 30th - July 3rd, 2022

We would like to inform you that the 2022 Beach Tennis World Championships will take place from June 30th to July 3rd, in the town of La Rapita – province of Tarragona in Catalonia (Spain), a beautiful fishing village located in the south of the Natural Park of Delta de l’Ebre.

The main assets of the La Rapita are its fine, shallow sandy beaches, the natural tourism, recreational activities, and its rice-based cuisine, seafood cuisine, shellfish and sea fish, traditional sweets, and liqueurs made from rice,

The key reasons why this town has been chosen were the number of hotels places and apartments, the additional services close to the event, and the involvement of the City Council.

The event is organized by our Member in Catalonia, the UCEC Union of Sports Councils of Catalonia. This organization has extensive experience in major events such as the World Sports Games organized in 2019 under the umbrella of CSIT, and that will put all its experience to guarantee an extraordinary World Championships.
